Resolving acute health situations
The surgical emergency room is open to patients daily on weekdays, and during the winter sports season is open on Saturdays and Sundays as well. The surgical emergency room is available to resolve acute health situations, including injuries, as well as chronic problems.
The recommendation of another doctor (i.e. your general practitioner) is not necessary. The surgical emergency room also performs the removal of minor skin lesions such as growths, dark sports, warts, and ganglion cysts. This requires an appointment scheduled beforehand.
The surgical emergency room is also equipped with an emergency X-ray. Other diagnostic methods (i.e. ultrasound examinations, CT, laboratory examinations, endoscopic examinations of the digestive tract, magnetic resonance) can usually be secured and ordered with our partner health facilities.
